I had the unchartered experience of being part of the inaugural Entrepreneur-SHIP program aboard Virgin's Resilient Lady.

Thanks to the visionary leadership of the unstoppable trio - Sarah Pirie-Nally Steve Pirie-Nally and Alex Christou - I was amongst an eclectic mix of entrepreneurs, creatives, and generally awesome humans who gathered to learn and make waves together.

To be around the creative juices of others gets one's own juices flowing, and mine were certainly at the brim. What's more, my hubby Adi Gal became an unwitting program participant and was able to take his own learnings and connections away from the voyage.

This is the first time I've delivered with my partner 'in the room' - or high seas in this case, and I was chuffed to hear Adi repeat some of the lessons I shared in my session on Negotiating to Create Value - particularly around truly seeking to understand the other side's interests to work well together, and at the same time knowing how to improve your BATNA (Best Alternative to a Negotiated Agreement) to feel more powerful, confident and clear in your negotiations. This should make for some interesting new discussions at home...

On a personal note, I was recharged by the chance to be a learner and glean wisdom from my peers. Amongst their many powerful messages, the one that really hit home for me was to DREAM BIG, and then DREAM EVEN BIGGER, know that you deserve it and take steps to make your dreams a reality.

That is my wish for everyone - be as BIG as you are! And remember to enjoy the wild ride by surrounding yourself with awesome fellow voyagers along the way.
